The website we have is simply informational, but it must load quickly and can never be down or take long to load. What web host should I use?

Looking for a good business web host with fast/reliable email support?

Right now we’re using Network Solutions, and we’ve noticed that the email can be really slow and it takes a long time for messages to transfer. We also require remote MYSQL connections.
Right now I’ve got my eye on Hostgator or HostMonster. They seem professional and look pretty good for the money. Anybody know how reliable the email is with these companies?
